this book was good， but it was nothing special - it’s everything that happened in kiss the sky and hothouse flower， but from lily and lo’s pov。 don’t get me wrong i ate it tf up but i did find myself getting bored bc there was a lot of repetition and i knew everything that was going to happen already。

Thrive is a good follow up to the third book in the series “addicted after all”。 The characters are compelling and you continue to grow a strong attachment to them collectively and individually。 It fell a little flat for me with the pacing of the book， a little too many jaw dropping moments added in for effect。 Whilst some kept the plot moving and made it more enticing as a reader， other events could’ve been cut out or reconsidered as they did not add much to an already great story。

for TWO YEARS （ironically） i’ve been trying to get through this book on and off and it was difficult because， while kiss the stars is a fav of mine， i feel like lilo were so present in that book that thrive didn’t bring anything interesting/new to the table。 I finally pushed through and it was worth it， especially for the second half that was in hothouse flower time。 🥺 i love these characters so much and i’m so happy i can finally read the rest of this series after all this time phew
